Windows 10: My laptop says my password was wrong

Hi all At school today when I open my laptop for school and it always prompts me for my password and my password is ant21! I didn’t change my password now But I tried ant21 and I didn’t work and the message: the password is incorrect try again I visited this forum and tells me: my password is wrong New password: ant21! At 3 pm today and when I open my laptop for emails and it prompts me for my password again and I sent email At 9 am this morning I did restart my computer It always prompts username and password: jacksant000 and ant21! Typed right password I didn’t change my password now At 11:2

Laptop password is wrong and cannot sign into it.

1. Window saying wrong password. Also cannot get laptop to into safe mode when hitting the shift key and restart

 

Wrong Password

The "Old Password" is the password to your local account. It is about to change your local account to a Microsoft Account. If you don't mind this, then enter your local account password. If you think this is overly intrusive of Microsoft, don't do it and let Cortana die.

 

Brand new Windows 10 laptop: "wrong password"

I just unboxed a laptop and went through the setup steps, including setting up a user "foobar" with password "1234". Finally the setup completed, the computer rebooted, and presented me with a password prompt for the user "foobar".

And then it says my password is wrong!

How in the world do I get away from this situation??

Windows even offers a "reset password" link right there. But that one requires a USB stick with a pw-reset file that I should have created earlier - except the setup didn't even offer me this option.

I'm fine with resetting the machine - but according to the manual(!) that is a function I can access inside Windows. Very funny, Microsoft... I don't have a setup disk of course, there was none supplied.
