Windows 10: my laptop turns off everytime without any warning

I encountered a problem with my hp notebook runs on Windows 10 Pro. I noticed every time when my percentage is about 20-25%, then my laptop just turns off without anything, no warning. Then I plugged my ac adapter and turns on the laptop and then the battery percentage is 5-8%. And now I see my laptop charges faster also drained faster. I think it is my battery issue because laptop stops charging after 80-92%. At this percentage ac adapter and battery light on the left of the laptop shows red(charging) and after sometime white(battery full) and then red and then white ..... It says 'plugged in, not charging' on the battery icon on the taskbar. I tried to solve this issue from the internet but nothing happens.

also, tried to uninstall and reinstall power driver from device manager.


First, I face the second problem ' laptop stop charging after 80-92%'. Then after 4 or 5 days later, the first problem arises, 'unexpected shut down'.


So, what I should do? Buy a new battery and see what's happening. Or it is happening due to other issues. Please help. Thank you.

New HP laptop turns off and on again without warning

Hi Ar Rom,

I purchased my £450 HP laptop a month ago. The issue of my laptop turning itself off and on without warning has been occurring right from day one. I have done various troubleshooting steps, but no issues were detected. I am receiving no error messages.

 

Best laptop under $800??

Here is a tip is you cant fix it, make it noticeable that you broke it...step on it *Wink "Oh my gawd, did i step on your lil ol laptop, im terribly sorry" Then she has no choice but to buy a new one.
