    My laptop won't boot


    Hello. I have a problem with my laptop that prevents it from booting to windows. I was playing Minecraft, and out of nowhere, my laptop blue screened. At first, I was waiting for windows to automatically restart, but I got impatient and held the power button for a hard shut down. My laptop blue screened before and started back up perfectly fine. This time, however, it didn’t boot. When I turned my laptop back on, it didn’t boot back to Windows 10. Normally, my pc has a splash screen with the Lenovo text and the loading thing at the bottom does that loading thing even have a name?. This time that didn’t come up. After about 5 minutes, the windows boot manager error 0xc00000f came up. I don’t have any way to create an installation media at this time, but are there any other ways I can fix this problem? Any bit of information is helpful. If I can’t fix this I might as well get a new pc. Thanks.

    I would like to note that step 20 comes up with no files. Perhaps this could be the source of the issues?

    Hi Andree,

    Hardware and software conflict is one of the possible reasons why you're experiencing black screen. Sometimes, it is also because of hardware failure. To get this issue fixed, we suggest that you
    boot into Safe Mode by following these steps:

    • Turn off your computer 3 times while booting. Windows should automatically boot to the Recovery Environment after 3 unsuccessful attempts in a row.
    • Once you are within the Recovery Environment, select Troubleshoot, and then
      Advanced options, then Startup Settings, and
      Restart      . When it restarts, you should see a number of options. Press 5 or F5 for
      Safe Mode with Networking.
    Once your computer is in Safe Mode, please follow the workaround provided on this
    link. Simply select the similar case that you're experiencing to show the troubleshooting steps.
