Windows 10: My laptop won't take screenshots/snips

Discus and support My laptop won't take screenshots/snips in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I'm pressing the Windows button, shift, and S at the same time and that is how it normally works, but I keep pressing those and it won't do anything....     My laptop won't take screenshots/snips


    I'm pressing the Windows button, shift, and S at the same time and that is how it normally works, but I keep pressing those and it won't do anything. Nothing comes up on my screen, no response, just absolutely nothing. I've restarted my computer, and nothing works. The issue started today and it normally works. I'm on Windows 11. Also, I think the problem might be that something is up with my Windows key. I'm pressing it and nothing happens. Sorry for the bad question layout

    How do I save snip screenshots as .JPG?

    Hi,





    You can save a screenshot directly as a .jpeg file in the Snipping tool. You can do that by following these steps:


    • Press File.

    • Select Save As....

    • Choose a File name.

    • Select the drop-down besides Save as type.

    • Select JPEG file.

    • Press Save.
