    My laptop's wifi keeps completely disconnecting and disappearing


    This has been going on for several weeks now. Basically, my laptop loses any and all connection with wifi, and when I try to see what's going on, there's no trace of my wifi even existing. Like, none of the other wifi signals are there, I go to devices and there's nothing that has to do with wifi, I got to internet and network settings and there's no wifi option even there, as if it doesn't exist. It comes back most of the time when I restart, but for how long is a total mystery. I need a fix other than "restart your computer lol" because that's what I do EVERY TIME and it still happens again

    • If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.

    WIFI disconnecting

    My Wifi is on, but my laptop keeps disconnecting from my wifi. also, when my laptop goes to sleep and then wakeup the wifi does not even show the list of available networks. So after switching on the airplane mode and then turning it back off, the wifi
    networks are listed but either it does not connect to my network or if it does, it gets disconnected as soon as I open any tab .
    I have tried troubleshooting, reinstalling wifi drivers, but nothing seems to fix it.
    This started after windows updated a few weeks back.
    please help
