Windows 10: my mic isn't being detected by the laptop even with up-to-date drivers

i have done tests with 2 different headsets and all drivers are up to date. when doing tests on the windows settings, it says '0% of total volume',. i have also tried re-starting the laptop multiple times

Laptop won't detect speaker and mic

I run W10 on a Dell Inspiron laptop. Today, my laptop stopped recognizing my speaker and mic. I had just installed update KB5016616, and now my laptop won't detect my speaker and mic. I uninstalled what I think to be the device inquest and rebooted; the driver came back, but the devices still aren't detected. (FWIW, my headphones work, but not my speaker.) I've also run dism to fix any problems with system files, but that didn't help. The devices aren't listed in "Settings," and elsewhere my AMD audio is not connected. How do I fix this?

 

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

 

Headset mic not detecting on my laptop

Ok so i just bought a hyperx cloud stinger recently and for some reason its not detecting my mic? I've tried going to sound manager and changing my mic, but it only detects my laptop mic for some reason. Im on windows 10.
