Windows 10: My Microsoft account was hacked and the hackers changed the email

My Microsoft account was hacked and whenever i try to login to it, it tells me the account doesn't exist. The hackers changed the recovery email related to the account and whenever i try to fill in the support forum it tells me the account doesn't exist. I bought Minecraft: Java and Bedrock Edition and i still have the order number related to it so i hope i can use that to recover my account.

Also may I suggest you change email accounts to one of the following.....

Gmail
Outlook

The reason is they both use "Step two verification". This style of verification means even if a hacker gets your password they cannot log in to your account. You see every time someone try's to log in that hasn't been verified you will get a text or a phone call giving you a final code to log in. Its very easy and simple to setup also. The great thing is once you setup your Email application with a specific "application password" from that account you never have to log in again AND your account is protected from being logged in from foreign entities.

I like the new outlook personally however Gmail is also damn good. Gmail also has an IP tracker that allows you to see WHERE the account has been logged in from. Anyway let us know if you wanna change over and have any questions. We will be happy to help and welcome to TPU!

 

Account got hacked and hacker changed the Email

My Microsoft Account got hacked a few days ago. The hacker also hacked my other email that was linked to the account to confirm he wanted to change the Microsoft password and Email, the Email is now a ...@rambler.ru one, I was able to find out the whole new email adress before it was changed to be hidden for privacy reasons. My Windows Hello PIN and basically anything that would allow me to log into my account again were also removed. I did manage to recover the associated Email adress without any damages to it.

I am still technically logged into my Microsoft Store. It shows my name and the Email adress my Microsoft-account was previously linked to, but I cannot access any data because whenever I try to check it, it wants to send a code to the rambler.ru-mail to confirm the person accessing is acually me.

I can't access my Minecraft account or OneDrive either and it's frustrating.

I tried to recover my account with the normal recovery form by entering the rambler.ru adress to recover and writing my old password and the credit card data I used to buy Minecraft with but this didn't seem to be enough to recover my account.

Account hacked and email changed

My microsoft account was hacked while I was playing minecraft. I recovered it and requested a change in security details, which put the account in the 30-day period, but the hacker had generated a security code before this. My account has been hacked again and now the email has been changed too. It says that this microsoft account doesn't exist. The account recovery process also says this account doesn't exist. I don't know what to do.
