    My Microsoft Store Won't Open


    Please help I was downloading Xbox Insider Hub and It wasn't downloading It happens before and I reset microsoft store everytime

    this time I reset the microsoft store I can't reset it anymore and It wont open anymore I tried using wsreset command still not working I entered a Powershell code for Microsoft store If your microsoft store is Uninstalled which I did because When I try to find it and reset it I don't find Microsoft Store can't even reset I tried using Multiple Tutorials None Of them Work I tried restarting my pc and Updated It still not working I had this issue before I reset my pc and erased everything because I had a virus then I was installing Netflix and It downloaded and I remember that the Microsoft Store Would not even work for me this time I don't want to reset and erase all personal and I can't save it in Onedrive because Its too big I tried using other Online Cloud Storage like Google Drive Dropbox and other I remember name of the other Cloud Storage So Please help me Microsoft :

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I suggest you to reset Windows Store Cache and check if it helps.


    • Press Windows Key + R key to open run box.

    • Type WSReset.exe and hit Enter.

    microsoft store games won`t play

    when I download a game from the Microsoft store it won`t play

    the splash screen appears then goes

    I have a core i5 with an nvidivia graphics card I tb hdd and 8 gb ram

    I have tried the diagnostic for microsoft store and it say cache may need fixing.

    We appreciate you for trying the troubleshooting steps.



    I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

    Step 1: Run Windows app troubleshooter.

    Refer to the below link:

    Step 2: Run shell commands for Windows store and check if it helps.

    Follow the below steps:


    • Press Windows key + X and select
      Command prompt(Admin)       to open elevated Command prompt.

    • Type the following commands.



      powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml

    • Hit enter, the blackscreen will appear still for a couple of seconds. After a couple of second a new line saying C:\.... will appear.

    • Close Command Prompt.

    • Try to start the Windows Store again.
