    my mouse is lost.... AGAIN!!!

So, once again my mouse has disappeared when I got the update.

Every time i get the current update my mouse, the drivers, and the option to even have a mouse in the "Device Manager" goes away.

    EVERY TIME

That's right, every time an update slips through when i turn off the "metered connection" in my network controller and forget to turn it back on this happens. It use to happen every about every three months but then i turned on the "metered connection" option and it quit because i was no longer being forced to get the updates as soon as they came out. it seems that the latest update has not been fixed yet.

    So here is my question.

How do i get my mouse back this time, and how do I prevent this from happening again, and again, and again...

I have red many posts on this recurring issue. It's not just me.

    :)

windows 10 deleted my desktop files

Step 1 - I upgraded to Win 10 and lost all my files on Desktop.

Step 2 - Found the files in Network - USers- Desktop

copied all files again to desktop.

Step 3- Restarted my machine again and lost desktop files again.

Step 4 - As suggested did the following as listed below but dont find my files.

    • Press “Windows + E”, open This PC/Computer
    • Open Local Disc C, open Windows.old
    • Click on Users, select your User name
    • Go to desktop folder
Cant find my files. Why is Win 10 deleted files again and again from Desktop ?.
