Windows 10: My Mouse is not working sometimes when ingame.

So, my mouse is not working sometime. It sometimes stops responding for couple of seconds or millisecond.

Usually in some games like: Hitman 2 (Mouse is lagging), Rainbow Six Siege (Keyboard and mouse are not responding sometimes).

Taskbar can still be clicked when ingame.

There may be a need to check out some settings on the PC as well as on the game itself.

That said, please do the following steps first:

• Click on Start and type in Settings on the
  Search bar.
• Click on Personalization.
• Click on Taskbar and turn the Lock the taskbar
  to On.
• Launch the game and see how it goes.

If the issue is the same, there is also a possibility that there are settings on the InGame that need checking. It would be best to contact the InGame developer and ask about that.

mouse is not working right


unfortunately there isn't a lot to a usb mouse. what i would suggest is checking the power management settings on it.

Right-click the start menu and choose device manager
Expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers at the very bottom
Double-click on each HUB you have listed, click Power Management Tab at the top, and UNCHECK "Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power"
You may have HUBs called Generic and Root Hub. Perform the step above on All of them.

If you continue to have the issue, i would imagine your mouse is malfunctioning. Perhaps try another mouse just to be sure. This will help you determine if it is in fact the mouse of computer causing the issue.

Fix against mouse scrolling while ingame?

• Are you getting any error messages?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
• Have you tried using a different mouse?
• Since when did you start experiencing the issue?
• Any recent changes made prior to the issue?
