Windows 10: my mouse, keyboard and lighting system keep disconecting and restarting

I believe this is windows 11 related but I'm not sure, this issue started happening a couple of months ago, ive already tried doing a clean windows 11 install, i updated my bios settings, all drivers and updates are update. I've also used device manager to tell the usb devices not to be allowed to power down my devices and this issue still persists no matter what i do while im using my pc or not using it the usb, keyboard and mouse will disconnect and i have to wait a few seconds until it all reconnects automatically i have an intel core i9 11900k so its not a ryzen issue or anything like tha

Wireless Keyboard & Mouse lights not lighting up.

Good morning.

I have a strange problem.

A few months ago, I bought a new [ eBay ] Logitech MK270 Wireless Mouse and Keyboard Combo for my Desktop. Previously they were BOTH wired. I inserted the USB Dongle and swithched the Keyboard and Mouse on. Everything worked perfectly and BOTH the Keyboard and Mouse lights were on.

At the weekend, I tidied up all the cables etc. I turned the Desktop on, and EVERYTHING worked perfectly, except the lights on the Keyboard and Mouse were NOT lit, although they BOTH worked perfectly.

The only thing I changed was to use a different USB Port for the USB Dongle.

I went into the Device Manager and deleted ALL other entries for the Keyboard and Mouse, as shown below, BUT, still the lights do NOT light up.





It is NOT a big problem as I always remember to swith them BOTH off, but I would be interested to find out why this has happened. Surely it can't just be because I changed the USB Dongle Port !

I have already tried a Restart, Shutdows & Restart, and put new batteries in BOTH the Keyboard and Mouse.

As I said, they are BOTH working perfectly except for the lights NOT being lit.

One reason why your mouse and keyboard is not working is because of an outdated driver. We suggest that you update the mouse and keyboard driver by following the steps below:

• Pres Windows+X key on your keyboard.
• Select Device Manager.
• Locate the mouse and keyboard drivers, right click, then click on Update.
