  2. Laptop not booting to Windows 10 after new battery installed.

    Hi Mr Bill,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I would suggest you to contact your manufacturer regarding the battery issue. As of now you can power drain your laptop and check if it helps.

    Follow the steps below:

    • Disconnect the AC Adapter.

    • Remove the Battery.

    • Hold the Power button down for 30 seconds to 1 minute.

    • Reconnect the AC adapter.

    • Turn on the laptop power.

    Hope it helps.

  3. Asus X552CL laptop boots up but powers down after exactly 30 minutes every time

I installed the ISO data on a USB on my laptop. Put that in the problem laptop and it powered up normally so I went in to setup through file manager to start the install. It said the laptop might power up and power down during install, but it powered down
and nothing happened for 5 minutes, which I assumed to be the 30 minute time out kicking in even during the install which was 8% complete

    or a better way:

    1. power off the computer and unplug power cord
    2. remove the battery cell during 30 minutes
    3. plug the power cord and power on
    4. enter the BIOS
    5. restore defaults
    6. save changes and reboot
