Windows 10: My MX Anywhere 3 mouse has never functioned correctly but as of late it's totally not...

My MX Anywhere Mouse 3 stops working and I cannot restart it. Nothing will clear it. I have to reboot and loose work under progress. I've tried switching the mouse off and on, using the arrow keys. I've tried recharging it and using it plugged it. Nothing works. Any software updates or replacements offered?

Thank you as well. I have no owned a corded mouse in 15 years or since they had wireless mice. Can I do the steps backwards, meaning do the keyboard first rather than the mouse since I will need a working mouse to do all this?
