Windows 10: My NEW HP computer Windows10 HPSEU.log file

C:\system.sav\Logs\HPSEU.log file


The same contents were on my old computer and these same log files were encountered when I took the computer and brought it home. The old computer was not working for 1 month.



PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME. what does this file point to

Saves log files ?

You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

Download CCcleaner from here...........

CCleaner Professional | Try the world’s most trusted PC cleaner, free!

You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.

Thank you for posting your response.

As per the information that you have provided, I suggest that you uninstall your printer drivers, and install the latest drivers form HP website. To do so follow the steps below

• Right click on the Start Menu and select Device Manager
• Double click and expand the device
• Right-click the device, and click Uninstall.
• Windows will prompt you to confirm the device’s removal. Click
  OK to remove the driver.
• After the uninstallation is complete, reboot your computer.
• After you have successfully uninstalled the driver, visit HP website, download the Windows 10 driver for your computer and check.

Unable to access HP Simple Pass to Sign-in to the computer on Windows 10

I understand your concern about accessing HP simple pass after upgrading to Windows 10. We will help you with this issue.

• Do let us know the make and model of your computer?
• Have you installed HP simple pass software on your computer?

Try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to download the latest HP Simple Pass software from the manufacturer's website install it and check if it helps.

Step 2: If you have already installed the software, I suggest you to re-install it and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to Access Recovery Manager:

• Press Start button from the keyboard, type Recover Manager.
• Select Recovery Manager from the list when it becomes available. Allow the action to continue, if prompted. The
  HP Recovery Manager opens.
• Click Software program re-installation, Next , select
  HP SimplePass for the listing and then follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall application
