    My PC freezes randomly, and i have no idea why.


    Issue Summary:I’ve been experiencing random freezes on my Windows 11 PC after 2-5 hours of use. When it freezes, I can still move the mouse cursor, but everything else is unresponsive. The sound cuts out completely, and the only way to restart is by force-shutting down using the power button. This problem has been ongoing despite several hardware and software changes.Steps Taken So Far:Hardware Upgrades: To rule out hardware issues, I replaced multiple components, including the GPU, RAM, CPU, and motherboard. Unfortunately, these changes did not resolve the freezing.Software Troubleshooting:Re

    I had already tried turning off fast startup, to no avail.
    Will look at the list you provided, thanks. Hard to do when computer freezes on the Windows loading screen though. *Biggrin
    I had tried that as well... no result.

    • Which is the last Windows update build you've applied to the computer?
    • Are there any third party applications that are currently installed?
    Furthermore, we suggest that you do a BIOS update to your computer. Here are the steps:

    • Check the motherboard manufacturer's website to find the specific model of your motherboard.
    • Go to the computer manufacturer's website.
    • Look for the computer model that you're using.
    • You should find any available BIOS update.
