Windows 10: My PC has a slower connection than all of my other devices

    My PC has a slower connection than all of my other devices


    My PC is connected via ethernet and gets a maximum of 20mbps. All my other devices get 130mbps or more. I've tried plugging the cable into my laptop and it gets 130mpbs so it's not my cable or modem that is the problem. It's my PC. Something on my OS is preventing me from having maximum internet connection speed. I ran a network adapter troubleshooter and it said my PC is configured properly but can't connect to DNS properly, or something along those lines. I downloaded the LAN driver from ASUS's website and I don't think it did anything. I would appreciate help on this

    No sound as PC is connected to a bluetooth device.

    As per your description, I understand that there is no sound in your PC as it shows that it is currently connected to a Bluetooth device which you do not recognize.

    Before we proceed, I would like you to provide the information stated below:

    1. Have you connected your PC to Bluetooth speakers?

    2. Do you recognize the device that is connected to your PC?

    3. Does the Bluetooth device display under Control Panel > Devices and Printers?



    For now, I suggest that you perform the steps below and check if you will be able to remove the device in question.

    To remove the device from your PC, follow the steps below

    • Select Start > Settings > Devices >
      Bluetooth.
    • Select the paired Bluetooth device that you want to remove > Remove device >
      Yes.

    Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??

    Initially, we need to pair the device to show up in the list while connected through Bluetooth. Check with the below mentioned steps and see if it works.
