Windows 10: My PC isn’t connecting to my wifi even though every other device in the house is connected...

My Wifi adapter is working and looking for other networks but not the one i usually use. I have connected to this wifi yesterday now all of a sudden its not connecting, ive reset networks, reset the router, my adapters drivers are fully updated and its just not finding it at all.

There are two passwords on the bottom of a typical router, one will be the WiFi key, the other is the Admin password for logging into the router and configuring it. The 'network security' you are being asked for when trying to connect is the WiFi key.

Hi, I wish to make an internet connection using our house wifi (virgin router - version not known) I have the wifi password, but when it comes to connect (password text box) I'm asked for the network security - why is this? It also is a problem as my landlady thinks it's the one on the bottom of the hub (it isn't) and as she is happy that all is well with her world , I'm stuck. Any suggestions? You may have an existing WiFi profile for that router with incorrect settings. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > WiFi. Click on Manage known networks. If the router is already listed there, click on its name then click the Forget button. Then try connecting again. Delete Wireless Network Profile in Windows 10
