Windows 10: My pc keeps freezing and screen goes black after....

Hi,

I have an issue for the last couple of days now.
My pc screen goes black randomly and freezes for about 10 - 20 seconds.
It happens very randomly, sometimes when I am gaming and sometimes while I'm doing nothing at all.


I was wondering if someone could help me fix this issue, it prevents me from playing competitive games now...


I already did a fresh install of windows, and haven't installed anything I do not use. Only things I installed:

Steam - CS:GO
ICue Corsair software

Discord

Google Chrome

Also my cs:go crashed once while this happend with the following error code:

Failed to lock index buffer in CMeshDX8::LockIndexBuffer

Gigabyte AX370 AM4 motherboard (Gaming k5)
Corsair 750W PSU

Screen goes black

Screen goes black if the power cord is connected

I also see that you are facing issues with the keyboard this might be due to the corruption of keyboard drivers. I suggest you to run the
hardware and devices troubleshooter and check if it helps.

PC goes into black screen and froze

I know.
that is exactly what happens to me. Maybe i expressed myself in a wrong way.
Anyways... did you try to use a different 8 pin cable ?
