  1. My PC keeps rebooting with BSoD regarding Kernel-Power 41

I've been having this problem for a week now. Everytime I'm playing a game, my system crashes. They seem random, meaning it's not exactly at X time of being playing that the PC shuts down. My temps are great CPU below 56C GPU below 62C.

I happened a couple of times while surfing the web.

    I've tried VERYTHING I found on google/youtube:

    -Formatted Several times

    -Changed power options on Windows

-Installed/updated drivers using Driver Booster, DriverPack

    -Updated Windows

-Changed memory sticks positions between them

-Ran memory test from windows and Memtest86

    -Rolled back video drivers

    -Deleted NVIDIA GeForce Experience

    -Installed NVIDIA GeForce Experience

-Changed PCIE cables on the video card

Everytime it crashes I'm getting Kernel-Power ID 41

I'm getting to the point where I'm thinking about changiung the PSU as a friend suggested but maybe someone can help?

  2. Kernel-Power event id 41. BugcheckCode 0

    Hello,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

In-order to get more clarity on this issue and to assist you with appropriate troubleshooting steps, reply with answers to the below questions:

    1. Are you aware of any changes made on your PC, prior to this issue?
    2. Is this issue specific while playing a particular game?
    3. Which edition of Windows are you currently using?

A Kernel Power Event 41 can occur in the following scenarios.

Scenario 1: The computer restarts, and there is a Stop error BugcheckCode in the event data.

Scenario 2: The computer is shut down by pressing and holding the power button.

Scenario 3: The system randomly restarts and no Stop error BugcheckCode is listed, or the computer is completely unresponsive (hard hang).

I suggest you refer the article on Kernel
    Power Event ID 41
and follow the steps for the scenario that is causing this error on your PC.

Additionally, you can refer the article on Windows
Kernel event ID 41 error "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first" in Windows

    and check if that helps.

  3. Kernel 41 Power issue

    Hello,

When the computer shuts down or restarts unexpectedly, the Kernel Power Event ID 41 error occurs. Upon starting a computer running Windows, the system checks whether the computer was properly shut down. If the computer was not properly turned off, a Kernel
Power Event 41 message is generated.

Regarding the error that you're getting, we suggest that you check the solution provided by

My PC keeps rebooting with BSoD regarding Kernel-Power 41

BSOD since 23/07, Critical Error Kernel Power- event ID 41

    Zbook,

Thankyou very much for your reply. In relation to your first post, I have carried out steps 10-22 (apart from step 15, I will attempt to leave it running with this tonight). The screenshots are attached. I have also uninstalled the programmes detailed above. Unfortunately, as my laptop is a custom built from PCSpecialist, they do not provide BIOS updates anywhere easily accessible. I will phoen them today and see if there are any updates.

    Kind Regards
    Ash
