My PC occassionally forgets the Wifi and I have to reboot my PC to fix the issue

So I have a gaming PC and I have this very occurring issue when I'm playing video games specifically online focused games where I'll get frequent lag spikes that are typically occurring every 15-20 minutes and it's just for a moment. It can be incredibly annoying though I just ignore it cause it only lasts a second. Well, there are moments where it's almost as if my PC is struggling to connect to the router hence why it spikes like that and sometimes I feel like it just can't reconnect because my internet will just blank out only on my computer itself. It'll almost just disconnect me only on

    :)

    Windows won't forget WiFi network

I have 3 old Wifi networks that I want to get rid of in the list of networks. All devices show them in the WiFi list and when i click Forget, they come right back. When I go to Manage networks in Settings, they're not there, but still show in the list on every device. How can I get rid of them? Windows Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042 The first image is the list of networks. I want to remove the Blackwellhome ones. The second is obviously the Manage Networks in Settings.

Want to forget a WIFI connection, but the "forget" option is not there

    Hi all

I needed to change my password at uni (every six months is the policy).

Usually, on my personal laptop then, I forget the uni wifi network, and rejoin with the new password.

But this time... the "Forget" option is not there to select... so I am stuck. When I click the wifi button on the bottom right on the dock-thing, then click on "Manage wifi connections", then right click on the network... well, "Forget" is not listed as an option to choose. The only option listed is "Connect"... which fails, of course, as my password is incorrect.

(I'd include screenshots in here, but every time I try I get the message "File(s) failed to upload", and no explanation given as to why. Grrr.)

The "Forget" option appears for other wifi connections (e.g., my phone's personal hotspot, which I have been using instead...).

Further: if I go to Windows Settings, then Manage Known Networks... the uni network does not even appear in the list to Forget that way... though it does appear listed in the Known Networks (again, screenshots)

What's going on? More importantly... how do I fix it, and forget the wifi network?

(I have contacted my university help (twice), but almost two weeks later, there has not been a reply.)

    P.
