    Hi,


    My laptop (Acer | Nitro AN515-52) won't detect any external mic input(earphone mic, headset mic) aside from it's

    built-in mic. I've also noticed that these are the only playback devices displayed on the Recording tab

    on the System Sounds Menu.

    USB Mic Problems.


    The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.

    Using external mic on the N95

    N95 doesn't have mic input, the 3.5mm plug-in connector is for headphones and tv-out, still u can record using the in built mic..

    Windows can't detect my external microphone

    I have a Lenovo Yoga 520 but I didn't like the built in mic for the purpose that I want to use it for so I bought an external mic, but windows can't detect my external mic. Does anyone have any suggestions? I think I tried everything.
