Windows 10: My perfect ASUS laptop became unusable after auto update 24H2. Is there a bug fix yet?

The screen on my VivoBook is badly corrupted, only the top 1/3 displays normally, the middle 3rd shows wavering gray horizontal lines, and the bottom 1/3 is black when I'm able to access at all. I've spent HOURS Chating online with Microsoft technical experts without resolve. One suggested updating BIOS drivers but with a faulty screen that is impossible, another said to view the screen on a working TV via HDMI cable and that too wasn't helpful and one observed there were too many accounts that are responsible for the debacle. I've tried removing unused accounts associated with previous comput

Unable To Connect Boase Headphones To ASUS Laptop.

1. What is the model number of the Bose headphone?
   
2. How are you trying to connect the headphones to the laptop?
   
3. What is the model number of your ASUS laptop?
   
4. Are you using a wired or a wireless Bose headphone?
   

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned in Connecting To A Computer
and try connecting your headphones to the laptop.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Asrock Released new BIOS update for (Sky-kaby lake) to fix Hyper-Threading bug

No they didn't. The Micro-Code update was released by Intel back in May.

Of the 20 Z270 motherboards listed on MSI's website, only 15 have even received BIOSes with the Micro-Code update to fix the issue. And all the updated BIOSes were released within the last month.

Of the 20 Z170 motherboards listed on MSI's website, none have received a BIOS with the Micro-Code update.

Of the 22 H270/B250 motherboard listed on MSI's website, a whole 4 have received a BIOS with the update. Again, all the updated BIOSes have come out the past month as well.
