Windows 10: My Phone app is now listed in task manager's startup tab

Has anyone else noticed that the latest update to that app has added it there? I have disallowed its working in the background, and that must be why it's also shown as 'disabled' in startup.

BUMP! can someone check there startup tab in Task manager and see if it lists any programs with the enable/disable option like in 8/8.1 Thanks!

 

Programs listed in Settings>Startup Apps and Task Manager>Startup tab do not automatically start

Some programs that are listed in both the Startup Apps and the Startup tab of the Task Manager do not automatically start when the system boots. In any event, I think programs that are listed in the Startup Apps and the Startup tab of the Task Manager
should automatically start when the system boots. Some of them were, but two in particular were not: Keepass, Rainlendar2.

(I may be using the wrong terminology for "system boots." I ran a program, Malwarebytes, that automatically "restarts the computer" after downloading and installing updates. In this case, Windows system updates were also installed, which would have automatically
restarted or booted the computer.)

The two programs that didn't start have always started in the past.

Windows 10 - cannot add exec to Startup in Task Manager

I purchased a new computer with Windows 10 already installed. I am trying to add an exec to the startup list but Win10 will not accept it. The exec runs successfully on my Windows 10 machine if I start it manually.

Steps I've taken: Task Manager, Startup Tab, File>Run New Task. (browse to location, select.) It will start immediately, but does not show up on the list to autostart, nor does it start on reboot.

Any suggestions?
