My hp laptop wont turn on

This is a frequent problem am sure as you have already seen from online searches.

Flea power is usually the culprit here, basically its residual power that remains on the computer even after thecomputer has been shutdown. You can drain the flea power with the steps the other answers have suggested.

• Disconnecting the battery and adapter
• Press the hardpress the power button for 30 seconds
• This should clear the flea power

Win10/HP Pavillion - PIN "unavailable"

Using Win10 on an HP Pavillion Gaming Laptop

PIN went away. Now when I go into create a PIN I get "Something went wrong. Try again later". The step prior is: Start.>Settings>Accounts>Sign in Options>Windows Hello PIN and it reads "This options is currently unavailable - click to learn more". I
followed the steps suggested, but they don't work

Suggestions?.

 

Resetting PIN on HP Pavilion 11k102U

Soooo my laptop's decided my sign-in PIN is incorrect. I've tried to reset my Microsoft password as suggested but that needs to be alpha numeric whereas the PIN needs to be numeric only.

I've tried to set up a password reset disk, but the Windows key doesn't respond, as I haven't signed in with my PIN.

Please tell me I don't really need to do an HP System Recovery???
