    My print function goes to monochrome even when I change to color! I can not print from my pc in color! How do I change default back to color and have it print that way? I can print color from my phone, I can see the print function turn to monochrome before window closes.

    Color Printing

    My documents/pdfs won't print in color. Everything is up to date. I've rebooted the pc. The printer will copy in color. When the document opens to print, it's set to monochrome. I change to color and it still prints monochrome. When I go under printer preferences,
    there is no option under print/quality to choose color defaults any longer.

    How do you change the default color printing? Any one else with this issue?

    Hi Bob. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 9 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

    Have you tried Cntrl + E to check setting is Color and not Monochrome?

    Or is it staying color and only printing in mono? There is a suggestion here that might point to the printer, check if it applies:
