Windows 10: my printer wont print emails or microsoft word

my HP office jet printer does not suddenly print emails or Microsoft word documents from my Windows 10 system. Help

Printing word docs

I have windows 10 and Microsoft office 16.

Suggestions did not work. I problem lies with emailed documents which are in word. New word documents print.

The printer reads printing reports.

I suggest you to make sure that you made the following settings and check if you are able to print.

Step 1:

  Open MS Edge and click on more actions [...]
  
• 
  Click on Settings and select
  Print.
  
• 
  Choose your printer from the list and check if you are able to print.
  

Step 2:

• 
  Press Windows key and type
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on view by and select large icons.
  
• 
  Open Devices and printers.
  
• 
  Right click on your printer and select set a default printer.

My printer does not show when I am trying to print a document from my email. Only shows when I am in word or excel
