    My screen brightness slightly dims when I unplug the charger.


    I have the HP Pavilion Laptop and I have gone through all the settings and tried to find a way to change the setting to 100% brightness while plugged in and unplugged.
    Nothing new has been put up about it since 2018, which was said then to go into 'enable adaptive brightness settings', but there is no longer that option. I have turned power saver on and off and still nothing.
    I have gone into regular battery settings, control panel power plans and still can't figure out if I am able to change it or it is just supposed to be like this.

    The laptop is fully updated.

    Very dim screen, lack of brightness.

    windows 10, Samsung laptop

    After computer unplugged for about 5 hours, but turnedoff, and then when turned back on and plugged in again screen very very dim. Battery is charging, up to (93%), brightness set to 90% but display very very dim. Should I not have full brightness the moment
    computer was plugged in again after having been unplugged for some time?

    Screen dimming on windows 10

    So, I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and I've noticed something that irks me and I cant, for the life of me, fix it. Whenever I unplug my laptop from the charger, the screen will dim slowly over a couple of seconds time. I have checked in the settings,
    I have my brightness set to 100% on battery and on charger. Adaptive brightness is off for both charger and battery. I did not have this problem on windows 8. Is there a simple fix for this that I am overlooking? is it a new feature that I can't fix? or perhaps
    a bug?
