Windows 10: My search bar and windows bar stopped working.

For the past few weeks my search bar and windows bar have broken. Along with my emoji panel not popping up when I hit Win + Period. I'm not sure why it started doing this but I cant fix it. I have tried multiple tutorials on youtube but nothing seems to work.

From the description, I understand that you are still receiving the pop up notifications, despite having disabled the search functionality in windows 10.

Steps to disable the Search Bar

• Right click on the task bar.
• Select the "Search" option.
• Select "Disable."

However, if the above steps don't work out, perform the below suggested steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Open a CMD window started as Administrator.

Repair corruption: Dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth.

Run this command next: Sfc /scannow

Now run these two commands:

PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Issues with using Search bar not working on Windows 10

Lucky you. My search bar stopped working and despite all of the "fixes" suggested, it still doesn't work. The start button works (lags, but works), the search bar is kaput.
