Windows 10: my snip tool is suddenly not working at all

A problem with Windows is preventing Screen Snipping from opening. Refreshing your PC might help fix it.short cut keys dont work, when i select app from menu and click on new button it says message above,switched on toggles for saving multiple screenshots and refreshed the app,,,it was fine a week or two ago, perhaps before updates... has a keyboard button been pressed?

To resolve your concern about the issue, please follow the steps below:

• Right click on the Task Bar, and select
  Task Manager.
• Look for Snipping Tool, and click the End task button.
