Windows 10: My Sound is Totally Gone on Windows 10

Hello,

My sound was working fine yesterday and today it's gone. I went to the following page below and followed all their suggestions except the last, putting the PC is safe mode, because I just don't know how to do it even with instructions. The sound won't come back on.

I have Windows 10 on a Thinkpad computer.

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue
