    My sound quality is permanently set to tape recorder quality, how can I fix this?


    I use a steelseries bluetooth headset and have had a lot of trouble trying to fix this. My drivers say they are up to date when I attempt to update them, and the speakers on my laptop sound fine.

    When connecting gaming headsets, and bluethoot headsets and even bt speakers I experience poor sound quality, I mean tape quality... however if I disable the recording in the

    old sound settings the quality is back, how to do I a fix? this this is a showstopper for working... gaming...

    Poor quality on recorded sound

    I have an HP Desktop - HVNE3HQ computer operating on Windows 10 Home edition, purchased in January 2017. It has DTS Sound Studio. When playing back any sound source recorded via 'Voice Recorder' the quality is very poor with a pronounced echo prominent
    throughout. However, when playing good quality music files copied from my previous computer, or listening to music on Spotify, the sound is of very good quality. Also the sound quality is very good whilst listening to any other sources on the internet, eg
    BBC iPlayer, ITV hub, etc. Any assistance to rectify this would be greatly appreciated.
