OK, and a Lappy isn't all that easily opened.

Could you run CrystalDiskInfo and give us the results of that?

The first results were from CrystalDiskMark, I think.

I've done this so many times I can do it in my sleep, but trying to explain how to do it isn't easy! But I'll try . . .

    1. Have the subject of your screen shot on the screen; in this case, your Task Manager's Startup tab.
    2. Go to the Start Menu, then click on Windows Accessories, then click Snipping Tool.
    3. When the Snipping Tool comes up, click on New.
    4. "Outline" your selection by holding down the left mouse button and "drawing" a square/rectangle around it. Holding the left mouse button down, start at the top left of the object you want to copy, drag the mouse over to the right corner, then down to the bottom. If you're happy with what you have, let go of the left mouse button.
    5. A new screen will pop up; Click on File, Save As and save the snip where you can find it again. I usually create a Snippet folder inside the Pictures folder for these.
    6. Now, just create a reply, click on Insert Image

(third from left), be sure From Computer is selected, then click on Browse, then click on the image you created.
    7. Click on Upload Image.

Let me know if you don't understand and need more help. There's always someone who can explain things better than the last person. *Smile

Report looks OK, it's not great for an SSD, but without knowing the brand and model number, that might just be the speeds it's capable of, as far as taking a screenshot, open up task manager and use alt + print screen, then go to here and paste into the reply window, it's a lot easier to understand *Wink

If your boot is slow but when logged in all is fine, It may be other thing that causes your problem and not you SSD.

Did you recently upgraded to Win 10 1709 ? if so, then try to upgrad your drivers.

To know exectly what's causing the boot delay, use Windows Performance Toolkit to take a boot trace :

Download and Install windows Performance Toolkit . Choose the package corresponding to your Windows version.- Record a trace using Windows Performance Recorder using these options: JustPaste.it - Share Text & Images the Easy Way- Compress the resulting file- Share it through TransferNow or any other file sharing platform.I'll analyze your trace file and give you a feedback.See you

These are good suggestions, however they may be outside his skill level right now. He's still trying to post a screenshot of the Startup screen in Taskmanager. My SSD is booting very slow - Page 2 - Windows 10 Forums at 9:43pm last night.

If he can get that part done, walking him thru posting a trace would be good.

My SSD is booting very slow

I thank each & every one of you, you are taking your time to help one who is struggling with some basic steps to get things done. But I am unable to, on trying.

First of all I posted the question- problem wrong, the problem was/is the login screen does not come up when booting, it boots OK, but the screen does not come up.

I get tired of waiting, I cold boot the Laptop and many times the login screen comes up and sometimes it does not, having me cold boot it again.

I will try again after a short while, early alzheimer's may be setting as I am above 60. My sharper times are behind me.

    Best regards to all

Is the drive close to being full? I've never had mine even close to capacity, but I hear if an SSD is nearly full up and does not have a good chunk of unpartitioned/empty space they can get pretty slow. Google: "Over-Provisioning" for more info.
