    My surface pro boots and shows login screen and the display goes blank immediately


    I boots up, my MS Surface pro 4. I get to the login screen, but the screen goes blank immediately. I have tried booting up several times but I always get the same result

    Screen goes blank after changing BIOS settings/

    I don't know how long this has been happening, a few weeks at least, but whenever I change a setting in my BIOS (and save & exit), my screen goes blank and my monitor goes into standby. Any suggestions to fix this?

    Hello Jimmy, My surface pro boots and shows login screen and the display goes blank immediately :)

    This doesn't list the "Surface Laptop", but you might give it a try to see.

    *Arrow Boot Microsoft Surface from a USB device

    Otherwise, you should be able to use OPTION ONE below to boot from the USB from advanced startup.

    Surface Pro 3 with Win 10 when connected Dual display, can't see the login screen, it is seen on a single display.

    I have Surface Pro 3 . I have Win 10. When connected to dual display - userid and password fields do not show. When only Surface 3 screen is running , then fields show. This happens on boot up and lock screen. I need to remove second screen cable and
    then field shows on surface screen. Any idea how to get dual screen to show fields.
