Windows 10: My System Restore Attempt failed, how bad is it....

Before this happened, I was running Windows 11, and troubleshooting a Wifi problem. It was working apart from the wifi connection being abnormally slow talking like 1% of tbe speed compared to other connected devices. As part of that process I had attempted to run system restore.Now it is stuck in an Automatic Repair loop and I am not able to reinstall Windows from either "the disk" or the cloud. There is nothing on the PC that cannot be replaced, but it seems I somehow do not have Windows installed anymore. Any help is welcome. I do not know what my options are. I've contacted the makers of

My system is running fine after the failed system restore attempts, and I still have ample storage space available, so I am unwilling to do anything drastic. I just want find out why the failed system restore attempts left behind 17 GBytes of junk files
so that I can clean them up.

I will take a look at your suggestions.

Failed to complete System Restore

The error code 0x80070005 may indicate a few things that are causing System Restore Failure. It could be corrupted system files, conflict with other programs such as Anti-virus protection, and etc. As a first troubleshooting step, we suggest
that you perform System restore in Safe Mode. Kindly refer to this link for more information and steps.

Another step that I can suggest is Clean Boot, if the above step fails.
