Windows 10: My text editors won't load

Hello all,


I have been trying to load docs on my Micorsoft Word and Notepad ++ text editors and neither are loading. There is also an issue when loading my task manager. I press ctrl + alt + del and it takes forever to load and once loaded the gui doesn't display correctly, only displaying the icon of active programs and not the name or anything.

Text Editor on Webpage

I'm creating a website that requires an advanced text editor, similar to the word processor in Google docs. I'm planning on creating the editor from scratch, but I'm not sure what language to use. I was thinking of using a Java applet, but I'm open to other suggestions. Some of the features that are required are highlighting and drawing (such as Microsoft Paint). Any suggestions would be helpful.

 

Text Editor with Multiple Search Replace lines


Hello All

I am looking for a text editor which will allow me to take multiple lines from one text file (if it helps I also have the information in a spreadsheet) and will then replace then lines in another line of that document.

I am trying to make a list for my books and comics.

<Book Series="{name}" Number="{no.}" Volume="{year}" </Book>
<Book Series="{name}" Number="{no.}" Volume="{year}" </Book>

For the comics it would need to replace the above format so;

<Book Series="{Batman}" Number="{01}" Volume="{2011}" </Book>

Any suggestions would be great

XML Text Editor.

Done a quick search here and Google but didn't find anything, So I apologise if I have missed anything.

Basically I'm looking for a free, lightweight XML Text editor to change some files. Being able to view items in a table for easier editing would be a plus. Looking at raw text is killing me at the moment.
