    My unsaved notepad windows were still there after a reboot. How?


    My laptop rebooted overnight due to some update installs and I also discovered that the unsaved notepad windows I had open yesterday survived the reboot - they were still there, unsaved and open, when I logged back in this morning. That was new and extremely welcome since I have lost tons and tons of unsaved notes I've had in notepad over the years due to windows auto-reboots. When did Windows 10 start being able to do these reboots without destroying unsaved notepads?

    How to disable to show Asterisk in Notepad windows title bar for unsaved Notepad File ?

    After windows 10 update, it will show * "Asterisk" in Notepad windows title bar for unsaved Notepad File.

    How to disable it ?
