Discus and support My VBox is Running Slowly.. How Do I Speed It Up? in Windows 10 Virtualization to solve the problem; I'm running win 10 as guest vbox in my win 10 host PC.     I'm running win 10 as guest vbox in my win 10 host PC. My vm is runnning slowly. I dont know what to do. What do you suggest?

    Slow lap top following Windows 10 re install

    Windows 10 was reinstalled recently on my lap top and it is running so slowly.

    Any ideas how I can speed things up?

    I did not get an error message when opening the app.

    The basic spider solitare program works slowly also. All programs in M.S.C. run at the same speed(very slow).

    My computer is a Dell originally configured for Vista, then converted to Windows 7 and then to Windows 10.

    How do I update M.S.C. ?

    Things to try

    1) Put vm on an ssd if possible

    2) Assign more RAM eg 4GB.

    3) Ensure VM is set to use all cores
