My Wallpaper has moved position on the desktop after latest update

I just updated to Windows 11, version 24H2 and after restart, my wallpaper has now moved itself down the screen, as if it has set some sort of alignment setting set as "align top." In settings > Personalisation > Background, I have to choose Fill or Span because the photo isn't a 1920 x 1080 photo, but before the update it still used to show the photo properly enough. In the preview window it shows what I expect it to, which also was what it was before the update. Instead now it has pushed the image down the screen and a portion of it is missing. If you want details, it is of my cat. Sh

  2. Desktop wallpaper for new users

    Hi Alaa,

Setting default users lets you specify the wallpaper on user's desktops and prevents other users from changing the image or its presentation. You can check these steps on how to set wallpapers from all users:

    • Type run on the search bar and press Enter.
    • On the window, type gpedit.msc and click OK.
    • Locate and click Administrative Templates.
    • Select Desktop > Desktop > Desktop Wallpaper.
    • Tick Enabled, and name your wallpaper.
    • Select Apply and click OK.

After performing the steps above, you may restart your PC.

Let us know the outcome. We will be glad to assist you.

    Desktop wallpaper

I have a wallpaper chosen for my desktop. However, often my screen will go to a completely blue background for no apparent reason. Suggestions?
