Windows 10: My wifi disconnects when i unplug it from the charger cord

Basically, when my lenovo pc isn't plugged in at all to the charger cord, it completely stops working and it does a strange thing where i cannot access any of the wifi connections and it shows only the airplane mode option In which I cannot click either. Whenever this happens, I have to turn off and turn back on my pc in order to fix the issue, but that still will not work.However, when I plug it back in and it gets to 100% battery, then it works fine-as-day.Any advice is fine really.

Every since the windows 10 update Both of my laptops ( TOSHIBA and DELL ) have been disconnecting from my wifi whenever I unplug them from the power cord .

AS long as I am using battery power, my Lenovo laptop stays connected to wifi. The minute I plug in the cord to charge the laptop, I lose wifi. When I unplug it, wifi returns. Any helpful advice is welcomed.

As you have stated that your computer is stuck in the splash screen after the first boot, I would suggest that you power down your computer and then restart the system and check. To do so follow the steps below.

• Unplug the charger and remove the battery of your laptop, if using a desktop remove the power cord.
• Press and hold the Power button for 30sec
• Plug the charger/power cord and restart system

if you roll back to the previous Window, you can also try to install the latest drivers for your wifi adaptor and check if it helps you proceed with the installation. The above issue that you are facing is due to the wifi adaptor, and I recommend that
you contact the manufacturer of the device that is Broadcom to check for compatibility.
