Windows 10: My Window search as well as File explorer search is not working.

Hello Everyone,
I am facing this issue past of few days as my windows search is not working.


I read so many articles but nothing is seems to be helpful for me. As you can able to see my Indexing Option Page



Past of 2 hours, it is still searching for index. If I am clicking on "Advanced" tab, that is also not giving me any response.


As you can able to see in next image, my windows Start search is also not working and not responding.




As well as my file explore search option is not working.








As you can able to see, I am trying to search by word "Udem" and always 2 folders are available but Windows search is getting stuck and not giving any response.

Please help me to get rid of all these issue.. It is really frustrating.

File Explorer Search Not Working


I am trying to search in File Explorer (Windows Explorer, My Computer) and it will not find anything. I can copy text from a name in the list and paste it in the search box and it still finds nothing. I have looked at the suggestions that have been posted and nothing I find that is relative to this works. Anyone have any suggestions? I am running Win 10 Pro on an I3 coustom desktop computer.

I have tried all the above steps but I am unable to find and search a file with email address as search key.

Thank you for the detailed response. To change the search result's view from content to list, we suggest following the steps below:

• Open the File Explorer and try to search for files.
• In the toolbar, open the View tab and click List
  to change the view.
• Once changed, close the File Explorer.
• Open the File Explorer again and try to search to see if the setting has been retained.
