Windows 10: My windows installation has been stuck at 88% for about 4 hours is there any way to cancel it?

So for a while now every time i went to turn on my pc I kept getting an error popup about my one drive. I cant remember exactly what it said but i think it was something about files for it being corrupted. So today i decided ill try and fix it. I honestly cant quite remember exactly what I did but after it said to restart my pc so I did. When it came back on it was in self diagnostic and then self repair but that never worked so and it wouldnt boot to windows. After a while of that i decided to just reset my pc and reinstall windows. When I did this i selected the option to keep my files and now its been installing for around 6-7 hours and it has been stuck at 88 percent for about 3 and a half to 4 hours. Thank you for any help that you can give me.

1709 update stuck at "Preparing for installing of Updates 88%"

It has been exactly the same for me: stuck at 88%, 89% after one hour and after restart and download again then it worked.

Is it currently stuck still at 88%, the maximum amount of time to wait for the progress is 3 hours. If this has already been the time consumed previously, you may then proceed by turning off the computer by holding the power button then see what happens afterwards.

Upgrade hangs at 88% - Configuring settings 54%

I am trying to upgrade my PC yet the upgrade has been sat at 88% for the past 45mins - 1 hour any suggestions ?
