So i was on twitter and acidently click on this link that lead me to a youtube video but i dont trust any links so i check windows secirty to see that it has actions recommend for malware bytes so in a haste i open mayware bytes and scanned to find nothing then i did a quick scan on windows to find nothing but it still says actions reccomended so i restart my pc and open windows to see that actions reccomend is gone so i do a full scan to make sure and it comes back as there is no problems so what happend was it just a bug on malware bytes part or windows is it a hidden virus a false postive i

  2. malware bytes

    Hello Bob

Thanks for posting Microsoft Community. I'm Marcos Independent Advisor.

Is Malware Bytes free version or Premiun?

If it is the Malware Bytes free version there should be no conflict, because they won't be doing the same work.

Malware Bytes free version runs as a periodic scanner, looking for malware, Windows Defender will be running as a real-time protection.

I suggest you testing both it should work well with Defender.

If you have Premiun Malware Bytes then It is not recommended to run more than one real-time Anti-Malware product. You should only chose to use one of them.

Hope it helps you let me know if you need further assistance.

    Regards.
