Windows 10: My ZIP code is broken for some reason

Hi i'm trying to buy a Microsoft Gift Card for my son but everytime I type in my zip code for Ex: 62245 it says quote " Check the Zip or Postal code in your address. There appears to be an error in it. "

What do I do?

.zip can't be set to File Explorer

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• 
  Type Default programs
  in the search bar and press enter
  
• 
  Click on choose default programs by file type
  
• 
  Select .zip
  and select File Explorer

File is supposed to be a Zip file, but it is being read as a pdf

Hi Nick,

The reason why your .zip files are read as .pdf file is because of incorrect file association.

To resolve this issue, follow the steps below:

• Click Start, click the Settings button, click
  Apps, and then click Default apps.
• Scroll to the bottom and click the link to Choose default apps by file type.
• Scroll down to .zip and click the program listed in the right column.
• Click your preferred zip program to select it and then close the open window.
