I posted the text in post #31, it was repeated in a screen shoot in post #35. My post would be easy to miss but the full screen shot with the bolded text isn't.

 

I think most people understood what the article said, just discussing in the future what might happen.

No need to get upset that people are voicing their opinion on matters, and nothing says Microsoft can't change their approach and offer a subscription service or go that way entirely. Just because some executive is saying one thing right now doesn't mean that 5 years from now it could be different depending on the marketplace.

 

Aww come on. MS would never change course midstream. MS would never say one thing then do something else. If MS says it you can be sure it's 100 true. If they ever did I would be *Shocked!
