Windows 10: Naggin Problem with Folder Renaming in Win 11

Out of the blue I was doing the simple task of creating a new folder and renaming it. For the first time in the 30 some years I've worked with Windows this is the first I can remember having an issue. When I try to rename it, it reports something to the effect, 'have you got the right path/address' OR 'folder doesn't exist.' Now I did a couple things suggested to the reg~ And the folder is workable. I can now drag files to it and drag the folder someplace else. I don't know if fooling around with the SHARE option opened that up or not. But I still get the reports above when trying to rename it

Windows 11, folder renaming problem.

I am having exactly the same issue:
In the navigation pane (Left Hand Side) if I select a folder, for renaming, then right click on that folder and and select 'More Options' followed by 'Rename' from the dropdown list the selection jumps to a Folder 10 or so positions down the list. This is not consistant, in a minority of cases selecting "Rename" will select the correct folder and not jump. But in the vast majority of cases it will jump to a different folder altogether.
If I select the "Rename" icon at the top of the 'right click' dropdown list or use the "F2" function key or rename the folder from the main pane (to the right) it works OK.

Can't rename folder.
