Windows 10: Navman and Windows 10 Compatibility

When I tried to run Navdesk on Windows 10 I get the following error message.


NavDesk.exe - Configuration parser errorError parsing

C:\\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v.2.0 50727\config\machine.config

Parser returned error 0xC00CES508


I have added .NET Framework 3.5 for the NavDesk as some parts missing but still get the same message.






The Navdesk works on Windows 8 laptop!

navman conection

You need to read the navmans user guide to see how to pair it with the phone. If you are having trouble with it then contact navman for support and to check if the E51 is compatible.

All you need to do with the phone is make sure that bluetooth is on and not hidden. Then accept any prompts that are triggered by the navman.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
