Windows 10: Need a link to establish email alert to notify of PC restart

I have security cameras that are shut down when the app is closed for restart on a Windows PC in a remote installation. Since these cameras are not viewed daily, I often have gaps in my video recordings. An email alert to let me know the PC is or has been restarted would alert me to sign into that PC and restart my cameras.

How to get PM notifies through email?

Is there anyway to receive emails that notifies me of having new PM's? I know you can get emails from subscribed threads but what about regular Private Messages.

Just to confirm, is this the same thing that you tried on your phone, in order to turn off Amber Alerts?

• Open Settings.
• Tap on System.
• Tap on Messaging.
• Tap on the Change emergency alert settings link.
• Turn on or off the emergency alerts you want.

Let us know if this was the same thing that you tried.

We would also suggest to reset your phone after doing these steps to ensure that the changes on your phone's settings will be refreshed.

Simply press and hold the Power and Volume down button for 15 seconds and then release your hold afterwards.

There's any number of ways that your email address can get on a spammers list, including these "facepunch" forums - what are they? Care to give us a link? Just, because you can't think of any other way it happened, doesn't mean it didn't. How do you know your PC isn't harbouring malware, for example? That will steal your email address and a whole lot more, wouldn't it?

TPU is a well established and highly respectable website & organization and I think it's a bit much to register on here and with your very first post to suggest that TPU would give away your address to spammers of viagra and other fraudulent emails from criminals. *Slap :slap:
