Windows 10: need answer re: Yahoo mail address

Can anyone explain this address that appears in the address bar when I open my yahoo mail taskbar icon?

That opening address bar used to read merely https://yahoo.com followed by only 3-5 letters.


I do not use yahoo when I see a peculiar address bar like the long one I show here lest it be some sort of

scam or hack. Please advise if possible. It is impossible to ask a question and receive support from yahoo.

Yahoo Mail interface with Windows 10

Since downloadintg Windows 10 (which I am quitre happy with), my Yahoo Mail screen and function has changed, I no longer am able to change the font or size of letters, neither am I able to access my address lists. OK individual addressees I can get therough
'contacts' on Yahoo mail, but I cannot access my pre-written address lists. How can I fix this..

Moving from Yahoo to Mail Windowss 10

It was easy enough to set up my new Mail account then sync the various folders. Now for my questions.

1. How do I get an icon of Mail onto Edge?
2. Should I completely delete Yahoo. Btw, I'm leaving Yahoo because my info was hacked.
3. Will my Yahoo email address continue to work on Mail?
4. Will all of my Edge folders contain the data that came from Yahoo after I delete the Yahoo account?
5. Am I overreacting?
6. Feel free to offer any additional advice especially since I have forgotten how all these new apps and systems work.

Regarding the issue that you had with making email replies on your Yahoo, have you tried performing a uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

We suggest that you follow these steps:

• Uninstall the Yahoo Mail app.
• Perform a soft reset by Pressing the Power and Volume down button simultaneously for 15 seconds.
• Once the phone vibrates, release your hold and wait for the phone to finish rebooting.
• Reinstall Yahoo Mail from the store.
