Windows 10: Need help ASAP Emergency

I’m having extreme problems with Trojans, and applications that got downloaded on my computer without my permission. Overnight my computer has become extremely unresponsive, even to the point where it completely shuts down without any warning. I found a bunch of the applications in the folder Program Files (x86), and tried permanently deleting a bunch of the folders that contain the applications. I couldn’t, so I messed around a bit and found out that all the apps were running background processes. I’ve killed all of them, and I’ve managed to delete all except one. I’ve tried killing the process, and it still kept going. I tried killing the process tree, but to no avail. Right now I’m using Windows Security full scan, but I’ve still got an hour left until I receive results. In the meantime, what should I do while I wait for the scan to finish, and does anyone know how to kill the process of the app that won’t stop? Any help is extremely appreciated!



PS: the name of the application that won’t stop running is called PoorPutZVCase.exe, and the names of the other applications that I’m pretty sure I got rid of were apathy, sympathy, and online guardian.



Edit: I’ve just tried using the command line: taskkill /F /PID but every time I do that (I have command prompt minimized and task manager enlarged so that I can see whether or not the command works) the PID number changes in literally a split second

Just to confirm, is this the same thing that you tried on your phone, in order to turn off Amber Alerts?

• Open Settings.
• Tap on System.
• Tap on Messaging.
• Tap on the Change emergency alert settings link.
• Turn on or off the emergency alerts you want.

Let us know if this was the same thing that you tried.

We would also suggest to reset your phone after doing these steps to ensure that the changes on your phone's settings will be refreshed.

Simply press and hold the Power and Volume down button for 15 seconds and then release your hold afterwards.
