Finally ! This problem is NOT solved. :\
Special thanks to whoever moved this thread away from the General Threads. Since then, the replies were NULL.

PS: I don't mind. And I know it should be here, but move it AFTER it is solved. Or if you move it, help get the problem fixed. I highly doubt there is no-one that can help, because everything I asked so far (besides this) got solved.
PS2: This message also acts as a 'bump'.

Need Help Setting Up "Wake On Lan"

Hey Marron...Not sure if you ever solved this issue but i may have the fix for you. I just recently upgraded to a new pc with Windows 10 Home installed and once setup i found that "Allow this device to wake computer" was grayed out. That is what led me here to your post but this post did not have any info to resolve the issue. So i dug into the registry as i have dealt with these issues before on a win 7 pc. Upon further inspection i found the problem. Below are the steps i took. Hope this can help someone else who cannot get WOL to work.

    1. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e972-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0001

    2. Double click *WakeOnMagicPacket entry

    3. Change Value Data from 0 to 1 and click OK

    4. Now disable and re-enable your network adapter

    5. Goto power management tab under the config page for your network adapter and you should now see all 3 options not greyed out.
